Would a manned mission to Mars benefit mankind, or would it simply be a waste of talent and resources, given the time and the cost involved? I view the first moon mission as a necessary achievement. We were in a space race, and a manned mission to the moon seemed a natural next step in our exploration of space. But Mars? While I find the thought of such a trip exciting, I have to ask what the benefit would be aside from proving that we could successfully complete such a mission.
I'm a true believer in the human spirit of exploration. Just not to Mars.
What do you think? |

I think a lot the same as you do.
It's an exciting prospect to the Sci Fi fan that I am, but I don't think it's a very practical step to take. _________________ ►►► Come join us at A Fabulous Fun FRIENDLY Christian Forum ◄◄◄
