As I was sketching this strip, a little bell went off that said, “Run this one by Brendan.” So, I faxed it to my Editor Brendan Burford, who took a look at the assault rifle recommended that I not run it. For both of us It wasn’t the weapon that made this one questionable, but the fact that Edison had one in his possession. I could’ve run this one without it being an issue, but it’s really not in keeping with the nature of the strip.
